Designed as a college and career-readiness platform, STEMuli™ enables direct interactions between districts, campuses, and industry partners to virtually prepare students for the workplace across industries. This is accomplished through the utilization of our connectivity features, career exploration, virtual mentorship, and ability to employ students via virtual job fairs.
 
As envisioned by its founder, Ms. Taylor Shead, a former collegiate athlete, Apple executive, and recognized education industry partner, STEMuli™ endeavors to lead the trend of connecting aspiring students with corporate mentors. In so doing, a new generation of highly-skilled workers can embark on growth opportunities across the industrial spectrum.
 

SCHOOLS

Our platform facilitates direct interaction between districts, campuses, and industry partners; provides data measuring tools to measure and track the effectiveness of programs. At the campus level, STEMuli™ provides a one-stop-shop for program administrators to manage and measure the effectiveness of community engagement programs.

BUSINESS

STEMuli™ provides an intuitive platform for industry partner employees to participate in corporate social responsibility partnerships involving local schools. i.e., Collegiate
Academies, Career Academies, P-TECH, T-STEM, NAF, and others.

OUR MISSION

We are on a mission to improve college and career readiness for all students by providing online access to industry partners, mentors, & career-based learning projects through our social platform.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to use our social platform to expose students to various careers in STEM and to connect students to learning experiences provided by major corporations and professional sports organizations.

STATISTICS

Nationally, over 80% of high school seniors graduate yet only 40% test college and career ready. 20% of 2018 graduates met the ACT STEM Readiness Benchmark, down from 21% last year but steady with the three previous years. Underserved students lag far behind their peers in the area of STEM. Consistent with last year, only 2% of students meeting all three underserved criteria achieved the STEM benchmark.

PLATFORM

STEMuli™ƒste is the next generation social platform. For our purposes, we call it a “social good network” because when you spend time on our platform you increase your human capital or you help to increase the human capital of someone else.

Within our social platform, you will find career-based learning projects that feature major corporations and professional sports teams and access to virtual mentors provided by our partners.

THE TEAM

Taylor Shead - Chief Executive Officer

Taylor Shead is a former collegiate basketball player at Loyola Marymount University and Apple, Inc Employee. Over the last 10 years Taylor has worked on research and development projects with the Orange County Department of Education, the State of Utah STEM Action Center, Follett School Solutions, and Pearson Education focused on STEM education & college and career readiness. Under her leadership, STEMuli™ Education was awarded the Succeeding Together P-TECH Industry Partner of the Year by Dallas Independent School District.

Wade Aston - Chief Product Officer

Graduating from The University of Texas at Dallas, with a degree in Software Engineering, Wade’s journey with STEMuli™ began as a colleague of Taylor at Apple. Currently, Wade leads the charge for STEMuli™ product development, design, quality control, and interoperability with our institutional partners. With nearly two years of development, the first phase of the platform rolled out to pilot in Dallas ISD, Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon, and Apple in 2018; where it was recognized for innovation, student engagement, and the future of workforce development.
